Questions about commissioning a Costa Rica project

Where is Faith Forge Labs based?

We deliver remotely from the United States. This site concerns work for businesses connected with Costa Rica; it does not establish a Costa Rican office or locally licensed professional practice. Working arrangements, access and review responsibilities are agreed for the project.

Can we work together in Spanish?

English is the default for technical delivery and project conversations. Separate language support and professional review of Costa Rican Spanish need to be arranged expressly. Tell us what the project requires so that the necessary people and responsibilities can be identified before they become a dependency.

Spanish pages can help explain the services without implying that every subsequent exchange is available in Spanish. Links to English-only material are labelled accordingly.

Does a website project have to replace our booking system?

No. We first inspect the customer journey and the current provider. Better service information, a clearer link or a supported configuration may solve the problem while the provider continues to manage reservations.

A replacement becomes a separate decision when the required task cannot be supported adequately. That review includes outstanding bookings, data, staff work and the capabilities of the proposed replacement.

Can a first release use manual availability checks?

Yes, when they are intentional, visible and assigned to someone. The page should explain that a preferred date is a request. Staff need a way to review it and communicate the outcome without leaving the customer to infer confirmation from a receipt.

The scope should say what remains manual. An unfinished connection should not be presented as though it will complete those checks automatically.

Can you connect our current providers?

We assess the specific operation, account permissions and supported interfaces. A platform's general integration claim does not establish that it can perform your required change or expose the information your staff need.

A feasibility review may be appropriate before committing to implementation. Where the supported capability is insufficient, a defined manual step or different scope may be preferable.

Can the site display colones and charge another currency?

That depends on the commercial arrangement and the selected provider. The business and its advisers decide the policy; the implementation makes the approved relationship clear. An estimated display, the customer's actual charge and the merchant's settlement are different records.

The currency guide shows why a provider fee or converted net payout should not be interpreted as an amount still owed by the customer. Its figures are fictional, not current rates or provider terms.

Will an integration make our invoicing compliant?

Technical work can carry the information and actions specified by your accountant and invoicing provider. It does not decide the appropriate document, classification, tax treatment or correction procedure for a transaction.

The project needs an approved sample exchange and a clear distinction between operational confirmation and the provider's document result. Those responsibilities remain explicit in the scope.

Is an installed mobile application necessary?

Not always. The decision depends on the task, devices, connectivity and capabilities needed. A mobile website may be sufficient. An installed product introduces distribution, updating and support responsibilities that should have a clear purpose.

Shared-device use also needs review regardless of the format. Changing staff accounts must not casually expose or submit someone else's unfinished work.

Can you repair a site another developer built?

Often that can be assessed if the appropriate code, accounts and documentation are available with authorisation. We begin with the fault and its dependencies. A successful targeted repair should identify what changed and what its tests establish, without claiming to have recovered every historical failure.

What do you need to estimate the work?

A description of the outcome, the existing systems, the users and one difficult example is a useful start. Material condition, access, provider capability, content readiness and review needs affect the estimate. Fees and schedules are agreed after the relevant scope is understood.

Who controls the accounts after delivery?

Your organisation should retain its provider accounts, billing relationships and recovery arrangements. Development access is limited to the agreed purpose. Handover identifies ordinary editing, dependencies and administrative tasks so that the next person can maintain the result.

Does maintenance include continuous emergency coverage?

Only the support described in the agreement is included. Components, availability, response arrangements and exclusions need to be explicit. Remote delivery does not imply a local emergency team or permanent monitoring.

How do we begin without sending private records?

Use a public URL and an invented example that preserves the relationship you need to explain. Leave credentials, identity documents, payment details and customer files out of the initial form. More detailed access can be arranged privately for an agreed purpose.
