Keep a working site useful after the launch.

A booking-provider change leaves two places where staff can edit reservations. New requests reach the replacement, but a changed arrival still sits in the old account. The website may load normally while the team loses track of which record to act on. We can scope care and release support around that transition.

Account for the work already in progress

For a fictional business moving providers, list outstanding reservations, pending changes and customer messages before switching the public link. Decide which records move, which stay available for reference and who handles each exception. A changed connection key does not establish that the new provider holds the information staff still need.

A first paid review can follow a small agreed set of representative records, inspect supported exports and identify the checks needed for the transition. Implementation or migration work is scoped from that evidence. We do not promise that every old record can be imported until the actual provider capabilities and permitted access are known.

Agree the last write in the old system

Choose when staff stop making particular updates in the old account and when the new one becomes responsible. Keep a visible route for requests arriving during the change. If both systems must remain open temporarily, define which actions each may accept so colleagues do not unknowingly maintain competing versions.

Check the change and a route back

Using the providers' approved test arrangements, follow an ordinary request, a changed reservation and an unresolved response through the customer and staff views. Confirm who deals with outstanding work. A recovery decision must account for records received after the switch; returning an old website backup alone may not recover a provider-held reservation.

The care agreement identifies supported components, transition responsibilities, response arrangements and exclusions. Ongoing updates and routine journey checks can follow as a separate defined service. Remote delivery from the United States does not imply a local emergency team or continuous availability.

Start with the public address, current provider, intended replacement and one recurring difficulty. Arrange access privately after scope is agreed. The provider-transition note helps prepare the outstanding-record and ownership questions.
