Plan customer-story permissions before designing the page

A customer-story section creates expectations about evidence. Before a designer builds it, decide what real material the business can use and who has approved the wording. An empty proof panel should not be filled with invented praise.

Identify the source

A Costa Rican business may have a direct testimonial, an authorized case example or a third-party review. These have different usage questions. Keep the original wording, the source and the permission or applicable terms together.

Review the presentation

A photograph beside a quote can imply that the person pictured said it. A stock image or unrelated visitor photograph should not create that impression. Similarly, editing a comment for length should not change its meaning.

Choose another useful asset when needed

If suitable testimonials are unavailable, explain the process, show the actual service or publish a practical preparation guide. Those can help a buyer without pretending to establish a client outcome.

W3C's image decision tree supports accessible use of images; it does not grant rights to use a photograph or review. Bring the approved source material to a design engagement. Legal or platform-specific permission questions need appropriate review before publication.
